Happy New Years everyone! Now that I can focus on the models again here is the final update for the E-75 build along with a few pics of the Diorama I am starting.
Time to start adding some dust to the tracks :-) Just to make them look a little dirty. First I spray a light coat of Tamiya Buff, (jar at bottom of image). This helps to dull down the gloss coat and also acts to blend the application of pigments.
Here are the pigments I use. If you are not familiar with these items the are basically a powder that I apply to the tracks and road wheels using a brush.
Next I want to give the worn areas of the tracks a metallic look. An easy way of doing this is to simply use a graphite pencil. Just run the edge of the pencil over surfaces you want to look metallic.
Now I am calling her done!!! Next step the Diorama Base!
Thank you for all the support! The votes, comments and shares help me so much, I cannot thank you enough! Keep an eye out for the next update, and a Happy New year to all steemians!
Tank came up good :)
Does each model you do have a diorama? :D
