Trumpeter E-75 1/35 Build update 005

Melting. 42 degrees Celsius or 107 degrees Fahrenheit. Yuk... Anyway. I didn't start tonight until 11pm as I needed it to cool down enough so that my air cooled compressor didn't melt 🤣 And yes I have killed two others that way lol. Remember last time when I said the brown was a preshade for the top coats? Well here we are.

Above is the tank just as I start. I paint a very thin mix of Model Air German Yellow or dunkelgelb to start of. The idea is not to completely cover the burnt umber paint layer below but to have the top coat semi transparent.

I work from right to left. I can add additional layers later to decrease the affect if I wish.

Here is the turret with the same process.

Above with the burnt umber. Below starting to paint.

And the next one with one coat completed.

You need to be careful when doing this as spraying very thin paint in multiple layers tends to make the surface a little rough for later. But that is fixed with a clear coat. 👍 Shhhhh trade secret. 😂

Here you see after a few layers. Just the look I am going for. After it dries I will start on the highlights.

The shading is coming out really good:) i never used an airbrush but when i was painting minatures 20 years ago i was using a lot of dry brushing techniques, oh i miss these days, lol.
I have a suggestion about your tags, if you like you can start using the #creativecoin tag to receive CCC tokens along with steem. Also if you have another social media account and you share your steemit posts there, you can use the #posh tag along with the link that shows that you shared your post there as proof. The #palnet tag also is a good choice as you will receive pal tokens and the #oc for your original content.

@georgeboya Thank you for the kind comments and the advice on the tags. 👍
