I love to draw people with faces that have a little bit of history. When I was younger, I preferred young women from some fashion magazine, but it's a something entirely thing to draw a weathered face with wrinkles testament to years of hard work and countless of experience. Something that many of the photoshopped images in magazines lack. These two drawings are of my grandmother and grandfather, Maria and Misha.
It's been a while since I drew portraits and it's so much fun to be back at it. But I really need to practice.
