Love is Transparency - openness - sometimes a void to be filled. Just my thoughts/ interpretation. I'd love to know what your intention was @apolette, it is very intriguing.

I think I can give several meanings to this one, as you said "openness" or "transparency", it also can be seen as "blindness" (when love hides everything else), I'd like your idea of a "void to be filled" (I never thought of that when I did it, but it's a very interesting signification). I think the starting point for me was more the "post-love" effect, just after someone leaves you, with a piece of you, the main piece of your face. But after that I realized it can be seen in many different ways.

I'd like to let people imagine what they want, especially for my project "People Like You", because they can sometime recognize themselves and remember we all have been, at some point in our lives, in one of these situations.

I think it could be very interesting to find a writer for a collaboration with me for this project, I think there is so much thing to imagine around that :)

Very interesting insights @apolette. Know that is another great interpretation: The "post love" effect does make sense to me - the loss of love can be worn on the face - as we carry the pain of lost love. Maybe this is what a stranger sees of a person that carries such pain and emptiness?

It is very intriguing to me, now I am also seeing something I hadn't the first time: The hole in the figures head might also suggest that our mind takes the shape of the heart; love shapes the mind - the loss of love affects both, as they are one in the same. It suggests to me the incredible connection between our hearts and our minds.

The ambiguous nature of the abstract allows for interpretation. Having no defined, universal meaning provides a blank space for our subconscious to spill into. It's remarkable how great art moves us and provokes us. Your work is fascinating to me.

I am a fellow creator and I love to collaborate with fellow artists. Let's chat ;)

Love your style and I'm a sucker for stark contrasts in painting - from Caravaggio to Chet Zar, I have always been drawn to that use of light and darkness. Can't wait for more "People Like You" , I am hooked already @apolette
