Renovation of an old chair with a cracked seat. The seat was made of plywood, which disintegrated spectacularly.
I painted the protruding fragments with various paints and UV pigments. I also added brocade in different colors.
There is also one fragment covered with luminescent paint which shines in the dark.
The whole thing was flooded with colourless resin and polished.
For moments I liked resin, but now I can see more of its drawbacks than benefits.
They are harmful during pouring, curing and grinding.
The finished part is safe, but you have to dispose of it someday and then it starts to damage again.
