Good afternoon Steem friends,
I would like to share some new terrariums with you, as well as some updates on my initial terrariums post in June..

These were featured on my previous post. They have only grown a small amount in 3 months. I may need to give more fertalizer in the water, as I have only done that a couple of times. They still look healthy and i have managed to not over water them. Im surprised they are still going after around one year in these tiny planters.

Before above.. after 3 months growth bellow.

Here is some kind of cactus. Which has grown almost 2 inches higher and a little thicker, in 3 months.
It has also grown lots of healthy roots, which you can see through the glass.
Before & after.

I planted this lovely pear shaped terrarium up with left over plants and cuttings that were left after selling off some plants at a car boot sale.

As you know from my first post, I love to make terrarium and planters out of unusual items.
I would like to share some of these with you today too :)
I found this shell on a beach here in North Wales.
I find alot of arty materials on the beach...
I planted a very tiny succulent in this shell. I think it is an alpine.
This plant came up in one of my other plant pots, but dont recall buying it.
It is so cute and tiny. Perfect for terrariums and easy to take cuttings from.
It has survived in the pear shape terrarium that is in the conservatory.
It is also doing well planted outside in this shell.

This is an antique dolls head. Porcalain i think.
I just used hot glue to secure in a plastic pocket for the soil to go, which i concealed with some nice gravel on the top.

I have even turned my old boots into planters!
Alpine plants look great all year round in the garden.

I love to see how my planters and terrariums evolve over time. Like the moss that comes and goes on these boots.
I find it both theraputic and rewarding to learn about plants. Maybe you will too.
I would love to see some of your own unusual planters?? :D
Let me know which planter you like the best :)

Thankyou for checking out my post.
Happy Steeming.

Bonsai starter tree :)
Variagated portulacara afra.

Very cute. Lovely tiny bonsai. Thanks for sharing @artystuff

Thankyou. I have only been learning about bonsai for a couple of years.
Maybe I will do a post of my little trees :)

It will be great! Wait to see more from you!

That';s some very creative planting there. I have a fair few house plants doing well but I do think it'd be nice to get them out of the plastic pots!

Yes they always look better planted up in something nice.. good luck with planting @martain
