Apple study in oil, Alla Prima

I devoted the month of October to grounding through returning back into fundamentals in art, painting still life in alla prima, and drawing figure. It was return to the basics, to strengthen my foundation, and to learn how to be more efficient in my work.
This was the first still life study that I did at this time...
