I had a pleasure of seeing spiritual-cultural complex in Robbinsville, NJ - The Swaminarayan Akshardham Mahamandir.
Truly magnificent and mind blowing masterpiece, reflecting on our divine creative potentiality.
All of these photos are from the outside,
you are not allowed to take pictures the inside.
It is a Hindu place of worship built by the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha and consecrated by Pramukh Swami Maharaj.
The mandir is built of hand-carved Italian carrara marble, Turkish limestone and Indian pink stone. The mandir was constructed according to guidelines outlined in ancient Vedas, or Hindu scriptures.
Marble from Italy was imported to India for carving work, then sent to NJ. There is no steel framework, it is an interlocking system.
Nagpur's temple is much more beautiful.
