Taxidermy

in art •  7 years ago

Hello fellow Steemians! Just wanna share with you some photos I took way back September 2016. We went to one of the government offices here in Tacloban and here's what caught my attention. I came across this exhibit showing the skill of taxidermy.

Taxidermy is the skill, activity, or job of preparing, stuffing, and mounting the skins of dead animals so that they look like they did when they were alive. - Merriam-Webster Dictionary.

I don't really like frogs, as matter of fact, I'm scared of them especially the big ones. But when I saw these, I found them to be cool. Thanks to the taxidermist Manuel Kalingag who created this awesome display.

Who wouldn't find this cool --

If this will be your live band,
Will you gladly give a hand?

Would you ever think twice
If you would drink with these guys?

Or Martial Arts Kung Fu?

Lebron James or Stephen Curry?
