A public street: a scrap of cardboard for a stage, an unfolded handkerchief for a till ... at least, that's what our "meat-self" would be doing. Here on Steemit, though, where we're free from our meat and its Matrix restrictions, we are warmed by digital spotlights, and fed by a new kind of currency.
Those of us who lack the government-appointed funds to gain gallery space or access publishing houses in our "other" lives now have a gallery in Steemit that's more than free: it's free. "Free" as in "costs nothing," and "Free" as in "uncensored." Those of us who are artists in any capacity (so, all of you reading this) probably once believed that The Art World was a place free of oppression and censorship, but as we grew up, and grew wise, we realized that a Powerful Few pinch the sphincter of The Art World (sh*t imagery intended) just as they do mainstream media. Now, the art is displayed by the very fingers that created it. What a revolution!
Be well, and be abundant!
