The beautiful hyperrealistic paintings by Ben Weiner

in art •  7 years ago

Ben Weiner (born November 10, 1980) is a contemporary American artist.

Weiner was born in Burlington, Vermont, and grew up in Dobbs Ferry, New York. He graduated from Wesleyan University in 2003 and completed an independent study in painting at the University of the Americas Puebla, Mexico. In 2003, Weiner worked as an assistant in the studio of Jeff Koons.

Weiner's works release glamor with the organic while reconsidering the cycle of nature and artificiality. His work also focuses on the daily experience of dissociation and imitation in the digital age, as well as the fusion of the object, the subject and the medium.

In my particular case, I love Ben Weiner, the hyperrealism of his paintings is such that even some of them appreciate cream of the most delicious, or ice cream hehe, and others simply amaze with their level of detail or effects such as blurring.
