Hey everyone!
It has been quite a while since my last post..
Mostly due to the lack of time! :(
But over this weekend, I did actually find some time to pick up a sketch i had laying around, improve on it and turn it into an illustration.
Next month I'll be flying to California to attend San Diego Comic Con .. I hope I can have this one printed before then so I'm able to offer it up for sale! :)
Anyway!
Here we go!
As you might remember from a few months ago,, I just had the 2 brothers, Mario & Luigi!
Well.. these where cool and all.. but I felt there was some peeps missing!
So i started adding them one by one! :)
Added toad,, and then came peach!
Then the little bomb-omb and his friend :D
Then I added Mario's retarded little brother.. Wario
With 2 more known friends .. excuse .. i dont know their names lol :D
Then I added 2 big ones.. Donkey & Yoshi.. Just a little different than normal :D
Last but not least.. A koopa Troopa! To bring it to a final! :)

This is ridiculous and I love it. I totally get the "mob family" feel you were going for. I've always been a fan of Toad and Yoshi, so I guess it makes sense they're my favorites here too... I really like the badass makeover. My kid has loved Mario for a while, and is obsessed with it these days. I'm going to show him this drawing when he gets home from school, and I'm sure he'll flip.

The gang is all there now. I really like the mesh of styles on all of them, but Yoshi is especially great here.
