⭐️ Space MURAL painting in PROGRESS #1, January 2018

Hello everyone, here I would like to show a little update on what I am working at the moment, it is a big 50m2 ceiling mural painting with deep space night sky.

The first layers of a ceiling mural are an extremely messy work. Afterwords comes the fun part, details, glazing transparent layers, depth, highlights, and cleaner finer work.

Painting is a condition similar to dreaming, the time and the rest of the world disappears.

Soon there will be another update from the work.

Here you can see only some making of photos. The final ones with better light will come probably next week.

For all of you, who are not artists but have stressful lifestyles, I really recommend you to consider painting as a potential hobby. You can create just abstract, or decorative work, it will calm down your spirit, your mind, it will bring you joy! I have experienced this with all my students.

Don’t tell me you can’t paint or draw!!! My question back to such answer is: Who did teach you, and how often have you tried? If you never had someone to properly explain you the use of colors, brushes, brush strokes, light and shades, rhythm and shapes, volume and emptiness, the point, line and plane as composition tools, structures and surfaces, and further more anatomy, perspective, and show you hands on how to do it, you can’t say you can’t paint or draw.

You could only know you haven’t tried😊
With love and light from Vienna.

woooww excellent !! I tried to do something similar! If you see the end, you will laugh a lot: D
I really love it.

Very sweet of you, thank you. Space needs many steps and layers, I totally love ceiling murals and in general murals, but they are very tiring, up and down all the time, my neck and shoulder are really mad at me😀

I spent hours working on such a simple version .. is not it funny?
I saw my mouth open when I saw you. !
your back and neck should really be very sore ... but you are a real star! :) congratulations

Not funny at all. It is nice, maybe just not finished yet;).

I will think how to finish it! :) you are very kind

Have you worked with transparent layers? You can either take a bit of pain, mix it very well with a lot of water, or a bit of pain and mix with acrylic emulsion. It is like a water color effect. It makes the paintings very rich.

This is beautiful great work 🙏🏽👁

Thank you dear Foxy;)
