Such a fun cute project for the young at heart. All you need is a little imagination, a clothes peg, popsicle stick and glue. From there the rest is up to you - paint, glitter, eyes, buttons, markers, wool.
I made these little planes for my daughters. It was a test run for a kids craft project in my shop. Every few months I host market events in our shed space. I try to make each market fresh, fun and engaging for everyone. So a free kids craft station is a big winner!
Since entering parenthood with a double whammy, I love visiting places that cater for children. I seek them out. A little play corner in a cafe or even a box of pencils and colouring paper. These little details that occupy children, enhance a parents experience ten fold.
For the kids craft station at my markets I look for a simple project that is cheap to execute, easy to do and quick to complete. The peg planes were a hit!
Until next time,
xx Isabella
P.S - This is the permanent kids corner in my shop. It is such a magical space!
