Painted in artist-friend Walt Gonske's garden.
”Gladiolas” 14”x12” (#1020) oil on linen canvas by Lee Gordon Seebach
Walt is a highly successful artist who lives in Taos. He has a beautiful garden, tended by professional gardeners. I used to housesit for him when he went on painting trips plus he let me paint in his garden.
These glads, set against a white lamp post and surrounded by purple coneflowers, were stunning in the morning sunlight.
I hope you enjoy seeing this painting.
More to come,
Lee

I see my art as lighting some candles.
