Just started reading:
"Interesting, let's see what this place is..."
Chainsaws chapter:
"Ok, that's still interesting and a kind of humorous description despite its macabre nature, but I don't think that he literally means it. It could be a metaphor or something, couldn't it?"
No More Noise chapter:
Experiencing difficulty to breathe normally and if I didn't know that this is just something I am reading, a panic attack would be on my way. Still I continue to read, because criminal psychology (and human psychology in general) is something I am genuinely interested in. The more insight I can get/ take I will.
The mother part:
Ok, let's see how it all started. Wait, where is the part that she fucked him off mentally and emotionally?
The cats part:
Oh bollocks, did you really have to do this to me? I love cats. And I know that these cute bastards are ALWAYS hungry...
Continuing reading:
Panic attack coming closer my way while riding a bus home full of people and being stacked like a sardine. Remembering all the horror and splatter movies I have seen when I was younger. Trying to come up with what could someone do except from having a panic attack, screaming, crying and begging in a situation like this. Preferably something that would allow him/her to manage to get out alive (and in one piece). Imagining the horror and the pain.
But that plot twist at the end:
Now I really don't know what to think and how to feel. Fucked up indeed..

First of all, thank you. That's almost all I can say! Feeling speechless. Sure, the story had it all, but this comment of yours. It's really something. You did to me with this comment, what I did to you with the story. Except I feel good at the end. It's not too often someone comes along to breakdown each moment like that. The story and presentation took a long while to construct. Each portion was important and I'm sitting here feeling like nothing was missed and all was appreciated. It looks simple on the surface but you dove right in. Thank you.

You're welcome and thank you too! I certainly had no intention to cause any discomfort feelings with my comment, but since at the end the feeling is good, I am happy!
Indeed the story had it all, it was very well structured and everything played its role.
The end was particularly mindfucking (in a very good way), because at the same time it takes away some of the panic and the grief of experiencing a story about someone being murdered like this when you learn what he is into, but also gets you into the discomforting position of judging your own self (I mean the reader) about whether it is ok to not bother if someone suffers because he caused suffering too.
Brilliant self-doubting and overanalyzing moments.. 😅

We'll cheer for a superhero, even when that superhero does something violent to another being.
This was some kind of psychotic serial killer superhero of sorts. The concept really messed with my head when it hit me, out of nowhere. I assumed it would do the same for everyone else! Unfortunately, I've a feeling some didn't read to the end...

Indeed and indeed.
Actually with the right work and choice of murdering and getting away with it methods, as well as a very robust way to bring forward the ethical dilemma about it, a story like this could also evolve into a book/ series/ other form of art. Many movies, books etc have been inspired by an unorthodoxically acting hero, the best one for me that I can think of (more on the supernatural genre though) is the manga series Death Note.
As for the feeling that some didn't read through the end, yes, that's the same as in all the aspects in life in general. Most of the people for their own reasons will just take a glimpse and leave, but there will always be those who will stay until the end. You are here for yourself and for the last ones.

I had stated in another comment here that I think I can do more with this character. I have other work here as well that I could expand on. I'm all over the place though, just doing whatever, trying to keep things fresh.
Plenty of artwork around my world that could be reworked into more projects and expanded. There is some I intend to use for a much larger project, far off into the future. Plenty of concepts and experiments around as well.
Those who stick around to the end are probably the only reason I keep doing this.

That's great to know, for what it's worth I am looking forward for them! Also sorry for usually taking so long to answer, most of the days I am constantly on the move the last weeks.
PS: for some unknown reason in my previous comment I wrote 'superficial' instead of 'supernatural' that I wanted to, but I corrected it! 😆

No such thing as taking too long. I know people have lives, and so do I. I didn't sit here waiting impatiently! ;)
I didn't even notice the typo. Knew what you meant, most likely.

Lol, I know! Guess I'm being overanxious sometimes about things I don't need to.. But what can I say? Nobody's perfect! 😅
