This is possibly my favorite piece out of the lips series I did last year!
Still remember how silly I felt taking photos of myself making spit bubbles(would feel even sillier asking someone to model that for me). Chose the halfway finished photo because I dug the contrast of negative space and the way the subject projects outward. The reflections and contortions of color within the spit bubble were dreamy and exactly what I was hoping to evoke. Good times working on that one- focusing in on detail here was extremely therapeutic.
