At first I wanted to make it more of a masculine theme from monochrome colours, and halfway doing so my parents asked me, "are you making this a Christian theme?" After looking at it there's some resemblances, because only in darkness we can see the Light of the world and His love clearer shining in our lives. "... because of the tender mercy of our God, whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on high to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace." Luke 1:78-79
Although this was a prophetic declaration of what John the baptist will do to pave way for Jesus coming ministry by his father, but you can see the essence of it in context Jesus' fulfillment for all mankind from birth, to the cross and rise again so that we have that light when we walk through the darkest path in our lives.
