Contemporary Melanesian Art and Poetry - A Turtes Tale

Hello fellow Steemians,
This week I will be posting a series of photographs comprised of wood engravings and simple penned
sketches accompanied with an original piece of poetry.
My work is comprised of mostly contemporary Melanesian art (which has similarities to Polynesian art)
of the Lake Sentani cultural area of New Guinea.
Since I have chosen to remain pseudonymous (for now - due to my crypto-philosophical beliefs :)), I have concealed my real name on my wood engravings which I originally intended to sell a couple of months
ago. As for my sketches they will be signed with my steem username just to clear up any doubts.
All I can say for now is that I am a twenty to thirty-something middle class Papua New Guinean residing in the city of Port Moresby and that all of my work is original.
