Big Ben is the name of a clock tower located in the Palace of Westminster, London, United Kingdom. The tower is officially named Elizabeth Tower, coinciding with the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II through the United Kingdom and Commonwealth Region. Big Ben was completed in 1858, and on May 31, 2009 the tower is exactly 150 years old.
