Exposition

BACKGROUND

Often, we are asked to explain ourselves. "What are you thinking?" "What solutions do you see?" "What brought you to this point?" ; Inquiries such as these assess our most basic intentions and rational processes. These assessments may assist one's evaluation of a subject's merit and potential. It should come as no surprise, then, when one discovers their life to be irrevocably mated with the seemingly insurmountable task of explaining and assigning value to their own existence, that words may fail.

It is in this epic failure that creativity flourishes.

PURPOSE

The primary focus of this blog is to detail one person's artistic process, and the affect that public exposure has on the artist's style. This compilation of favored works is highly subject to audience mutilation, critical analysis, distortion, and interpretation.

The primary focus of the artist during the introductory period of this project is to provide the public with new ideas on beauty, fear, joy, pain, and everything in between; a 'working' manual on how to thrive throughout life's events by depicting and then letting them go. It is in this manner that feedback is vital to the project.
All comments will be thoroughly considered and the artist will attempt to create new content in conjunction with the audience's respective input.

AVENUES

Each new day represents an entirely unique interaction, and another bountiful creative opportunity.

Using completed and partially completed projects to incite interest in a community, the artist seeks to complete and generate projects that the audience further responds to. Some material may be explicit. Some material may cause unexpected or perhaps even unwelcome emotions in the viewer. Viewer Discretion Is Advised.

The artist urges the audience to provide feedback, as this is the fuel for the project. Honesty and courage must be exercised in this endeavor by both parties. Most pressingly, however, the artist wishes to extend an expression of much gratitude to all who view, respond to, and elaborate upon her work.

This project is set to begin on the 29th day of January, 2018 and will continue until no artwork may be curated to be displayed.

Blessings!
