I absolutely agree with you @daio oil painting is really enjoyable and definitely easier then watercolor. But of course you have to spend much more for those materials then for watercolor. I think that is one of the reason that people hesitate to try oil as if it does not work then there are much more expenses. But once you understand how it works you will fall in love with it :)
