Charming Rust Bucket! :-)

Volkswagon vans have alway's attracted me. So when i saw this rusty old van along side the road i was drawn to it. If only this rusty old van could talk! what a great story it could tell , probably spent many years by the beach providing a home for surfers waiting for the waves to build. As kids my dad drove us everywhere in one like this . About a 68 if i remember. Then my brother bought a 1958 panel van that had doors on both sides in the back. It died when he rolled it over and it was to much to fix the van. Then i bought a 1960 panel van that i spent a month going from LA to Canada, putting it on every beach from Canada to LA. There so much fun!!! What's interesting is the rusty old Van has brand new Tires. Ready to go another 40,000 miles.
