When we generally think of art and religion mixed it is usually met minimally with a raised eyebrow . When my children finally got to be adult age and I was able to move from the traditional home into a loft I wanted to create a space that was filled with my art and the things I loved, yet gave back to the source, however that shaped itself. I do not feel there is a rigid right or wrong answer on this quest and like to bring in pieces from many different faiths. This is my fireplace with art I have created along with some Eastern philosophy. I think it's time we all take a fresh look at the world around us. It is a beautiful magical place and each faith has something unique to offer everyone. Namaste.

What a lovely space you've created for yourself.
My kids are grown too. I have one still at home and he may be for a long time, but I'm about as close to an empty nest as I can be and I crave my little nook too. I love the stones you keep in the shovels! What a great way to keep some earth in your home.
