...these are two pieces from my "urban fragments" series. The windows are mostly window frames i found or i dismanteled in abandoned buildings and factorys. Most of them are from beginning of 1900 century. The pattern i build out of stripes from artwork i already did. I used to take old wooden frames for my work- so i had to cut the artwork in the right format...all the leftovers what i kind of liked i collected. Now out of these "fragments " new Artwork was born.
For me the whole thing has to do with "history"and of course with my "own history".
