Who love's tie dye?

I've always loved the beautiful vibrant colors of tie dye. It's a very underrated artform, in my opinion. Traditional forms of tie dye, like batik, and shibori have been around for millenia. A traditional rainbow spiral is what most people think of when you talk about tie dyes. In reality you are only limited by your imagination. So many other amazing things are possible. Lately I've been trying to perfect some more difficult designs. This type of skull is a twist on a Grateful Dead "steal your face" skull. I added a mushroom inside the skull, so I guess it's a shroom your face. Every single shirt I make is a one of a kind work of art. This bear tie dye is one of my recent favorites. The colors are so vibrant and beautiful. I'll be needing to make myself one of these! This is a spiral tie dye all tied up. If you want to tie dye I suggest using high quality fiber reactive procion dye. I personally like Dharma Dyes from Dharma Trading Company. If done correctly, the dye will stay vibrant, for the life of the garment. Here's a shot of my vending booth this summer. There is some serious work involved in making all that inventory. Some of the designs take over an hour to make. My love for tie dye is hereditary. Both my mother and my father are Tie Dye artists. All the efforts for my hard work are repayed in joy, when i see how happy a customer is, in their new attire. Tie dyes seem to spread a certain amount happiness to their wearer. There is something about the rainbow of colors that makes me smile. I love tie dye .) Please $upvote follow and smile .)
