As mentioned in one of my earlier posts, I've been doing artwork since I was a wee tot. One form of art I got into about 20 years ago is old school freehand pinstriping, so I figured I'd show you a little of my work.
These are a few of my very early pieces when I was still trying to get a "flow" down and relax into a personal style...
As you can see, I primarily pinstripe "found" items, pretty much whatever I get my hands on - toolboxes, hubcaps, saw blades, even an old ukulele...
Here's a neat vintage metal cooler I found at a yard sale. I "enhanced" the paint a bit, then gave it to my buddy for his birthday...
One day, while out junk hunting, I came across a local closed-down bowling alley with a pile of boxes out for the trash. What I found were about 4 dozen old bowling pins! So, what do you do? You make some bowling pin tikis!
Here's a bunch of miniature wooden coffins I did for a Halloween art show...
And even some antique glass Christmas ornaments!
Anyone else into pinstriping art? I'd love to see some more "pinheads" here on Steemit!
