Upcycled KC Fishbowl

Here's the tutorial I promised. I hope you enjoy it!!

First, I sketched my designs and taped them to the inside of the fishbowl.

Then, I painted on the designs, and painted the trim with yellow.
I mixed one part glue with one part water, and a lot of red food coloring. This mixture will create a sunglasses effect and allow the light to shine through the glass. I painted this on the rest of the bowl. Paint a lot of thin layers to ensure the mixture won't drip onto the edges.

After you are done painting you can bake the glass at 300° for 20 minutes to prevent paint from scratching off. I skipped this step, and taped the lights in. Use LED lights to prevent the glass from getting too hot.

This was the final product!!
