Orton Effect -Paint doing phothos or get magic landscapes-

Did you imagine if you can get a photo like a paint made of water and ink? Well if you imagined that, today is your lucky day, because with some simple tricks you will get that effect. The name of this effect is Orton Effect, its call ''Orton'' because is the last name of its discoverer Michael Orton. 

Michael Orton was a photographer, in him work he tried to get to him photos a magic and unreal effect, after many days of work, in him attempts to get something like Orton Effect, he discover this amazing effect. -If you want to look him amazing photos, get this link  www.michaelortonphotography.com 

Now the question is, How can I get Orton Effect in my digital camera? That's why I'm here today

Materials:

The photo that we want, (I think it looks better with landscapes photos)

Photoshop (Can be any edition)

Now we are going to start:

First we put the photo in Photoshop, I select a photo that I did days ago

Now we are going to duplicate the background layer two times, to that we put Ctrl + J

We select the middle layer and we go to the option that have a circle in the image and we put lighten

After, we go to the top layer and we go to the option in the higher menu Filter

In the Filter window we go to Blur and we select Gaussian Blur

Now we select how much we want our photo unfocused, I this case I will try with 10 pixels, you can play with that to get the ideal photo

Now you have to go to the window in which we put lighten in the other layer and put overlay or multiply

Now we have our Orton Effect, in the opacity you can select the opacity (Obviously) of the filter that we put.
