Fishing, Acrylic on Paper, 2015

I’ve never been quite happy with how this came out. The faces are bad, no other word for it. The figures are little better. I do like the reflection in the water, and the pole held by the boy. I’m torn on the background. The water could have been better. Maybe I am the harshest critic of myself. I don’t know.

It is a nice family. They look like they are comfortable and enjoy each other. Maybe I captured some emotion in this one eh?

I’m posting every painting I have ever done from 2014 to the present, the good, the bad, and the ugly. With an occasional photograph or sketch thrown in just to mix things up. Check back daily to see my progression as an “artist”!
