"Ithaqa" Comic Book Update #83 The Splash Page Takes Form

It looks like our leading ladies have found a clue, and they manage to look pretty badass with their trench coats while they're at it! The rats are pretty creepy already, but they're actually going to be getting a makeover to make em look much worse. @a-fumettista and I want to slip the mythos into the story every chance we get, and so these rats will soon be dripping with little black strings.

Can't tell you why, but since you're all here before this comic book gets picked up (I hope), I might as well point at the little clues as they appear.

That painted symbol is BIG clue. 5 points with the fifth pointing down was meant to evoke a pentagram, but I also wanted to convey threads branching out along different paths. Theresa cleaned up my original design considerably, and that is what you see here. Something that's simple, strange, and hopefully someday it will be iconic and synonymous with the horror genre!
