A Piece Of Art I Am Making From Recycling Stuff From Work!

I have been working on a number of film projects in the special effects Department. When we set off pyrotechnic devices it is sometimes done sending it electric charge through a copper wire! Making things go boom can be one of the funner aspects of special effects. And today I like to show you a piece of art I've been making from the Recycled remnants of this!

I decided to make an Egyptian Ankh out of the left over copper wires. I started this project sometime around October last year on a show called 'Dead Again In Tomb Stone'. We did a lot of pyro on that show, and it was a good base to start from. Every show I worked on since I've been collecting and adding to the piece. Not sure how it going to turn out! Here's a look at it so far...

Here is a look at some of the materials I collected from this week's work. The black wires I will strip with wire strippers to reveal the copper!

This Wire is made red so it can better be seen when it is attached to a pyrotechnic device.

I trying to make a list of shows where this copper wire has come from. What better way to do it then on the steemit blockchain.
