New Portrait Drawing Part 6 By EdgarsArt

So i am only about 2 hours away from finish this portrait!!!
Personally it is going very good so far and it just might be one of my best portraits that i have done!
Mostly also because i am using brand new brushes for this portrait.

What i have to do now, is to shade the background. I am doing it the usual way, which is: To shade it with charcoal powder. You will ask: Where do i got it? Usually when i am drawing with charcoal i am sharpening the pencils, and i am right on the spot dividing the powder, so could use it somewhere else later. I started doing that couple of years ago, just because i saw that i am throwing away some valuable stuff which i cant get anywhere else any other way. I am shading almost every drawing with it.

I will also do some final work on the face, some small things, just to make the portrait more realistic. Adding some highlights somewhere and just correcting some mistakes that i have made. I am usually spending about an hour looking and correcting small things like that in every portrait, and almost always i can find a lot of places where i need to add somethings, some shadows, some darker spots, or maybe even erase something. Here i think i will need to erase some hair on the forehead to make it a little bit larger, on the sides. Hard to explain now what i think with that, but in the next and final pictures, it will be visible, the change i will make.
