Charcoal Original Dalmatian Drawing Part 7 By EdgarsArt

in art •  8 years ago

Today i finally finished the basics on this and now i can work with an eraser. This is the final stage. I finished with some details on the body, putting one more layer of charcoal on . Basically i just added some more details all around it with Medium pencil which i have been using for the most part here.

So far i have had so much fun drawing a Dalmatian for the first time. Both it is challenging and interesting, because i can learn something new and show what i have already learned at the same time. I also smudged the background already with charcoal powder.
I made Part 6 of this yesterday: https://steemit.com/art/@edgarsart/charcoal-original-dalmatian-drawing-part-6-by-edgarsart

Here you can see the changes i made today after i have worked with an eraser. You can clearly see the difference in both sides of the face. To get this far it took me 5 hours! I guess i was lying when i said that i would finish this stage in just 10 hours. I think i will make 2 more parts until i would be able to show you the finished result. And about 20 more hours of work

I will include a link to my verification post, that all of the drawings posted here are done by me: https://steemit.com/art/@edgarsart/edgarsart-original-art-now-verified

Nicely done

Big thank you:))

Love those spots. Nice details. I can say that because I have a real one. Did you know that Dalmatians can get secondary spots as they age?

Thank you:) Actually yes, a friend of mine has one, he is old already and he told me this too!
