In this post i wanted to show one of my Pug charcoal drawings i have done.
This is on size 40x50cm.
If you are interested in drawing and if you love dogs, than drawing a pug can be a great practice and test of skills. From the flat face and curly tail to the wrinkles throughout his blocky body. Here in this drawing i did only its head, but i have one more drawing with a full body, which i will post in one of my next posts. Actually just over a week ago this work was finally purchased and i shipped it.

I have never had a Pug as dog myself but i really think they are gorgeous and cute. They seem to be so positive and active,emotional.
Pugs are clowns at heart i think, but they carry themselves with dignity. They are playful dogs,they are always ready for games, but they are also lovers, and must be close to their humans. Pugs really love to be the center of attention. I noticed that because one of my friends, actually many of them own pugs. And i can see why they do. Pugs are really great companions and friends.

I have made many works with pugs, and i am planning to do more when the time lets me to do so. And other people also seem to enjoy my works with them. In this work i especially love the eyes. I think i managed to make them really stand out, they are just shining with joy and curiousness!
