Congrats to @kristyglas who is the winner the winner of the mandala challenge! I like it because it is radiating with life and offers enough contrast to have a graphic quality. The scale is also very nice with more detail in the center. It is called The Inner Eye.

I also like the idea of a hypnotic creature looking right into your soul which I see when I put both of @kristyglas’ entries together. Thank you for taking the time to make two entries, they are both wonderful!

@chelsea88 also took on an excellent creation for this challenge. It is simple, elegant and enigmatic. It is Symetry and was made after a meditation which is what I suggested for this challenge and I can feel the cosmic vibes in this work of art.

I’m glad I did not get more entries to judge as it was hard enough to choose between these two contestants. On the other hand more participation would have been great. Like a big art party! What do you think, should I continue to hold art challenges in the future?

Next is a drawing I made of a creamer this week. I was using a thin newsprint so I had to go heavy with the filters to hide the shine of the graphite. In plain English it wasn’t photographing very well but I very much enjoyed layering the pencil as I was shading. If you draw cups dont forget the rim or else it will look paper thin. It’s also very interesting to draw the overlapping planes of the handle.

Lastly, I got into learning python today with a very cool app named SoloLearn. It had been over 6 years since I tried working on a text base RPG with combat system. I may give it another shot! With my #postoftheday challenge on Steemit, I have been writing more than ever but today it was cool to do math. I feel like all the high school subjects won’t leave me alone. I must be smart or something if I want to just learn in my spare time. I am still working on remaining focussed in order to achieve a few projects but having fun most certainly comes number one.

Thank you guys for popping by, I am looking forward to reading your posts.
