is steemit a good place for everyone

Hello every one , my thoughts about steemit it was quite interesting. In the beginning I thought steemit is just like Facebook but when I went Deep a little bit I discovered it's different. I understand that I can earn money in steemit, ain't that's amazing. Even though I saw some YouTubers who said that they can earn a lot of money(STEEM currency) from steemit. So I decided to open an account and to discover steemit by myself. The first impression that I have,  steemit is for authors and people who can write good content. Moreover I found out that earning money is not that easy; since it's so complicated to understand the methods of payments and how it works. Thus you need followers, steeem power, upvots, Etc. I believe I know a lot of smart people; despite their smartness thy are not able to use steemit easily since I got that impression of unfriendly usage. So is steemit a good place for everyone, is it interesting for everyone? I believe the most interesting thing in steemit is earning money and not for gaining knowledge or entertainment. As both knowledge and entertainment can  be considered as a byproduct of steemit. It's still early to evaluate steemit , as I believe there is a long way to go and to evolve for steemit.
