THE SEATURTLE

Amo molto le tartarughe di mare e spesso mi capita di trovarmi a disegnarle.
Questo disegno è stato ispirato da una foto che ho cercato di riprodurre con la tecnica del pointillism.

I love sea turtles a lot and I often find myself drawing them.
This design was inspired by a photo that I tried to reproduce with the technique of pointillism.

Dopo aver lavorato ai dettagli e alle ombre il risultato mi sembrava un po statico, ho cosi deciso di aggiungere sul dorso della tartaruga un faro.
Il risultato che ne è uscito mi piace molto e questo è uno dei disegni a cui sono piu affezzionato.

After working on the details and the shadows, the result seemed a bit static, so I decided to add a lighthouse on the back of the turtle.
I really like the result that came out of it and this is one of the drawings I'm most fond of.
