This is a straightforward personal creativity challenge started by @tonyr. Every form of artistic expression is invited.

Challenge guidelines:
Create an original work every day for 26 days.
The subject matter of the first days work must start with the letter 'A', day 2 with the letter 'B' and so on until you reach the letter 'Z' on day 26. If you miss a day it's back to the start.

Congratulations on reaching the end of the alphabet art challenge @enternamehere. :)

You did a fantastic job my friend and should be rightly proud of your achievement. I hope you enjoyed the experience and that your day is going well. :)

Yes, I've had a positive experience participating in your challenge - thank you for initiating it. It's been a fun ride!

So Tangy!!!!! dude that wet shot is epic... love seeing those kinda shots you don't get to see unless your the one there making the mess.... grats on making it all the way to the end!!!!!

I knew you would appreciate that one! In real life the way it looked was similar to henna paste or some kind of liquid dark chocolate. Glad you liked it, thank you for cheering me on to the end ☺

Woot Woot!!!!!!

All done! What are you going to do next? Love your dedication btw:)

Many thanks countrygirl, you've been a dedicated supporter of my work! More ENH illustrations coming right up.

it's over, you did it! Nice job! What a way to start a new year, but successfully doing a 26 day challenge - just roll on into the next year with that same dedication! Was the black also liquid acrylic?

Yes, we finally made it through "Z"! My mind has been working on all kinds of ideas for 2018, I'm excited to keep making more art in as many ways as I can.

In response to your question, what appears to be black is actually a mixture of black ink and dark walnut liquid acrylic, yes. Now a question for you: of all the watercolors you have used, what is your overall favorite brand or kind? I really like this liquid acrylic, and yet it doesn't share all the same qualities as watercolor. In the near future I'm interested in acquiring some good watercolor paint...

Daniel Smith is very good, also very expensive. Any artists grade watercolors are quite expensive, but they really do make a difference because they contain more pigment. The current artist grade that I use is Mission Watercolors - it is by far the best quality to $ ratio. I think that Daniel Smith is a little better quality, but you're also going to pay a decent amount more. The Widsor and Newton Cotman brand is a good student grade - not as good as Mission - but cheaper. Another thing you can do, is buy the three primary colors of Mission/Daniel Smith and then make colors form there, but it can be quite time consuming trying to get the right shade you want! (at least for me!)

Get Cotman at the bare minimum, if you go with a lesser quality you won't get even washes and it will be very frustrating. So yeah, Mission is my recommendation! Hope that helps!

Thanks for the information, the set in the link you shared looks very reasonable. 36 colors is a huge set!

this is the one I bought I opted for this because the tubes are twice as big than the one I linked earlier and I wanted more paint for the money. But, either are great. Yes, I like the large number of colors so I don't have to mix as much!
My thought process was to buy the 36 colors, and then I'll just replace the tubes 1 by 1 after that because I know certain colors will go much faster than others, then i'll just buy bigger tubes of those individual colors; but this way I pretty much have every color at my disposal, or a quick mix away from it.

Good thinking. Tell me, if you had the need or want, could you use one of the primaries with a certain premixed color in one of the tubes from this set to make new colors? Or would that muddy things up? You have a lot more experience than I do ☺

You can absolutely mix a primary with a premixed, I do it all the time! Obviously, all the rules of color still apply i.e. mixing complimentary colors and such. This is one of the best ways to get rich shadows; you paint whatever it is in your main color, then you can add a bit of prussian blue or indigo to darken it and then you have the same tone of the original, but darker, which makes for a great shadow.

Perfect! Infinite thanks.

I just looked at the link, the 15ml set looks really nice. I have a new Mijello Palette, no paint yet. This set is definitely in my crosshairs now. Thank you for sharing!! Most helpful ☺

Yeah, no problem! The Palettes are where Mijello got their start actually! Then they came out with these watercolors, which are very nice for the price point.

Woohoo! You made it with such interesting and various pieces! 🙌💃 Congratz. Those shots of the wet paint in this piece are amazing, which makes this one a double piece to me, coolio!

Thank you! I knew I had a once in a lifetime moment to capture, happy to share ☺

I want to get my best wishes in here for the new year. Thanks for being my steemit buddy!

Happy New Year! Right back'atcha ☺

Congrats on making it to the big Z. Was a long and fun journey. And certainly easier from MY end. Just look and enjoy and make comments and such. I do like this one too. The middle two remind of a "socko" or "biff" expression page in a comic book when someone gets klonked on the nozzer. Have a nice New Years Eve and start to 2018.

As always, thank you for your support! I enjoy our comment section chats. I can imagine the comic book page you described, when I was at that stage it was looking like Charlie Brown a little bit to me. I'm actually thinking about doing more to this and a few other pieces I made for this challenge. Happy 2018 to you too! It's going to be a good one ☺

THAT'S what it was, Charlie Browns' sweater...
And you are very welcome, I enjoy our forays into comment-land very much as well.

I wish you a very happy new year in 2018. If I had a fancy magazine I would put you in the top 10 artists on steemit in 2017. You know like one of those top sexiest women alive type columns ha ha.

Sincere thanks from a true fan! You are ever the charmer ☺

I like to be good to the people that still like me despite my sour dispositions. Haha

You're sweet and sour, a delicious flavor combination!

Good job with the alphabet challenge. I should attempt one of the challenges this year.

Thank you, I appreciate it! Challenges can be a lot of fun because it's you vs. you, no monetary prize significance attached. I know you would make something charming if you were to have a go at a challenge. ☺

Nice post

Well done mate ✔✔

Thank you!
