Tidak salah bila Quraish Shihab, seorang cendekiawan Muslim Indonesia menyatakan "Indonesia merupakan kepingan tanah surga yang jatuh ke bumi". Khsususnya Aceh, provinsi ujung barat Indonesia ini juga memiliki ragam budaya dan adat, salahsatunya tentang busana. Busana yang maksud ialah pakaian yang lazim digunakan pada acara-acara adat tertentu, misalnya pesta perkawinan dan penyambutan tamu-tamu penting.

Motif dan konsep busana adat di Aceh pun telah mengalami 'modifikasi' sesuai masa. Dari motif serta corak yang tempo dulu hingga nuansa modern. Busana adat di Aceh masa sekarang banyak dipadukan dengan berbagai motif. Dalam masyarakat Aceh dikenal seperti istilah pucok reubong, bungong seulangan, dan bungong meulu. Warna nya juga beragam, dari hitam kekuningan hingga putih dan biru tosca perpaduan motif keemasan.

Di Guest House komplek Perta Arun Gas (PAG), dulu terkenal dengan komplek PT. Arun NGL, yang berada di Kota Lhokseumawe terpajang beragam foto-foto busana adat Aceh. Mulai busana adat Aceh wilayah tengah, pantai utara, timur, dan barat Aceh. Foto-foto ini menambah suasana lokal sekaligus modern dari Guest House PAG ini.

Dari sejumlah foto tersebut, terlihat foto busana adat ini diambil pada masa lalu. Karena dari resolusi dan karakter busana terlihat masih menggunakan konsep full tradisional.
