“4 Seasons Home”

I had an hour to paint today aftter doing all household chores and taking care of the kids, its always a tiring day having 3 little kids but im thankful to have a family of my own. Anyway, on this 2nd session i peeled of the masking tape i covered for the House and started painting in it, i started with background colors with its lights and dark shades and with the roof, its a four seasons painting so eventually when i finally finish the details, i am planning to glaze it depending on the color of its surrounding, I’m also planning to change the far left side falls with autumn trees and keep the lake. By then i can focus on the fore ground flowers and animals that she requested. Honestly this might be the last time im making commissions and request, because its gets too much detail that it takes a lot of time instead of making a lot more, but im still enjoying the quietness and calmness that painting does to my brain. It makes me focus on one thing at a time and makes me more patient with time as sometime i forget that time exist and then next thing you know its already late in the morning, the thing is, being a dad is a full time responsibility and when the kids are awake, you better be there for them with all the things and attention that they need. Im thankful for my wife that she makes our life more special and i provided them with a house and she gave me a home.

Here is my process so far for this painting

First of all here is a link to my 1st post for this painting “4 Seasons Home” part 1

  • So this is the house that my friend wanted me to paint, with 4 seasons and different flowers and animals as her request, i try my best to accomodate all her wants but everytime i see her she wants to add more, so i decided not to tell her that im already working on it and just start working on it but its a little bit too much.

  • So from the last post i peeled the making tape then started painting the backgrounds and pretty much just covering all the dead space

  • then focused on making details per section, and made more details on the roof and making it as symmetrical as i can, by the way, i never use any ruler just free hand.

  • then i just kept on working on it, repeating each stroke till i get it right, meaning when i im satistfied on what i see. For now i only had 2 hrs and 1am already, i need to go back to sleep or else my kids wake up at six and im useless without sleep.

WOW! This is very nice!
I laughed when you said, every time you take it to the person you are painting it for, she keeps having you add stuff! :)

It is really neat having the 4 diffenert seasons.
Nice work indeed! :)

Hope you got some good rest so you have enough energy to have fun with the 3 kids!
Have a good day!

Thanks @acromott, i know right, and yeah priorities first kids first, that by itself takes alot of energy and patience.

Ganda ng gawa mo po.
