Polishing tin foil balls...a new craze coming from Japan. Aluminum foil used for things like packaging and cooking, is usually pretty boring. You wouldn't think of making tin foil balls as a fun hobby to do in your spare time when your not at work.
Although serving no purpose whatsoever, these polished tin foil balls are surprisingly satisfying to look at. The whole country of Japan has become obsessed with polishing tin foil balls, thanks to a Japanese jeweler.
They took a whole entire roll of the aluminum foil (16-metre), and decided to turn it into something. They formed it into a rough shape and began polish and hammer at.
This process was repeated over and over until the foil formed into the perfect shape of a ball. The craze spread like wild fire across social media, with people attempting their own versions of this cheap DIP project.
Can you think of any use for them? Have you made one of these yourself? If you have, send us your thought's and photo's. Don't forget to check out the photo's below, along with the video of how these things are made.
