Aesthetically, I love this. The colors are wonderful. I am familiar with encaustic (as an observer, not a user) and you have taken it to another level by using the glass and translucency idea to give the piece a chance to be revealed in more than one way. It's a perfect realization of the metaphor you are conveying with the concept of the chameleon. Second, I like your composition, because you show us 3 different views of the creature. Again, more ways to enjoy the concept. Third, the bugs add 3D texture and interest. Super well done!
