The internet is buzzing and people are questioning the imperfect Google’s 'G', but there is actually a very simple reason behind it.
Not only the "G" character, but it seems that the search box bar in the Chrome browser suffers from the same problem that some consider a major technical flaw in the capabilities of the company on visual design. It is only a few moments before the problem has become so important that millions of people around the world have become preoccupied with Google's failure to design a symmetrical logo, even though the company launched its newest logo nearly two years ago.
Despite the skepticism about the capabilities of a giant company like Google in its visual design capabilities, the company has a simple explanation for this simpler than you imagine!
(Google's logo has always been simple and far from complexity!), The company explained why its logo looks asymmetric. She continued: (We wanted to preserve these qualities by combining geometric shapes and the origin of mathematics with the childish simplicity of letters printed in textbooks).
The company added that the final logo it chose was tested extensively in different sizes and weights to maximize clarity in all new digital contexts. The style of "sans-serif typeface" was chosen to look multicolored, and to remind others that Google always tries to remain unconventional.
Although Google provided a detailed explanation for its intention not to apply symmetry in its logo, it still did not satisfy the lovers of geometric perfection! What about you?
