the destruction of beauty in art.

The idea that art is ‘subjective’ has almost totally taken over both the mainstream and the art world. This concept is just nihilism hiding under the guise of postmodernism. It is used as tool of making art more accessible and pandering to those who haven't succeeded in creating good art in the past.

The “beauty is in the idea of the beholder,” view of art and artistry reduces art into a meaningless tool of ideological propaganda. If beauty is not an objective quality of art, art is forced to become an empty expression of anything goes hedonism, nihilistic destruction, tired pastiches and propaganda for the artists ideological war.

The nihilism and thirst for destruction is also manifested in the huge push within art to invert and redefine beauty. Currently, art celebrates the ugly, damaged and imperfect as truly beautiful while also claiming that true beauty is subjective or non-existent. In Europe, the movement to usurp and annihilate the rich culture and history of the continent has far more adherents than any push for the celebration and preservation of it.

How can we create beautiful art if we are told that everything and nothing can be?

How can we create beautiful art if beauty is an ancestral sin and mustn't be repeated?
