Somewhere near the edge of the world
The station "Edge of the World" is located next to the Great Waterfall, the place where the Arctic Ocean falls into the expanses of the cosmos. There's always disgusting weather and conditions are practically unsuitable for the permanent stay of people, but they are very rich in rare species of fish than are used by the most desperate fishermen. Our hero was sent to rescue, fishermen who were left without their vessel.
