Oh! I love Big Sur! I used to go camping at the Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park all the time as a kid (with my parents). My favorite memory from there is rollerskating through the redwoods along the little road in the park. I was saddened to hear that they had to rebuild the campground after the fire years ago, and the campsites are in a new location. :(
