Been trying to add a personal painting from imagination to alternate between studies of old masters. I was watching a talk from Bobby Chiu of Schoolism.com and he uses this kind of approach to be able to understand on a deeper level what is going on in a painting. I'm excited to stretch my brain more with these exercises.
