I'm still in hospital awaiting treatment for my leaking dura.

After months of immobility and pain my doctor has found a large leak in my lumbar region.

If I ambulate at all the fluid that surrounds my brain and spinal chord leaks out.

THIS IS AN UNPLEASANT SENSATION

Which causes my brain to sag and put pressure on the base of my skill.

I wasn't prepared for hospital, so my supplies are limited. So I had to make do with the ballpoint pen in my bag, and my non dominant arm as medium for today's masterpiece.

While I'm sure it doesn't look like much, it contains some symbolism.

The CSF leak week symbol
A wonky spine
A head with a lightning bolt through it.
And a messy haired self portrait.
And a few others that are important to me such as peace, gender irrelevance, the eye of a healer, and a symbol I found that binds the imprisoned (let's save that for another day.)
