Inktober. Day 25. Prickly. Chance to win SBD.

in art •  6 years ago  (edited)

Hello steemit doodlers!

There are a few days remaining of inktober.

Check out the themes / prompts and grab a pen.

Give yourself permission to just have a go.

Earlier in the year I did a 30 day doodle challenge using #bicscrawl

I drew something with my trusty bic (ballpoint pen), and posted every day.

I have joined only a few inktober days.

I have treated them as 10 minute doodles.

Today is -

prickly!

If anyone who jumps on board for the last couple of days and uses #bicscrawl I will upvote with my humble 100% and resteem.

At the completion of the month, if by some miracle someone has actually used my little tag, I will choose my favourite and award them

2 whole SBD!

If by some miracle this takes off and generates more than 5 bucks I'll increase the stakes.

No upvotes or resteems required.
Unless you are compelled to do so...

You can drop it here in a link too if you like, to ensure that I find it.

I will search it and be delighted if someone actually engages this little task.

Check the date corresponding to the above prompt. Do a doodle / drawing / ink masterpiece relating to the prompt and make a post.

Include #bicscrawl in your 5.

I don't think being the first tag is important to finding it. In fact if I can were you I would use a popular tag like art or drawing or inktober, to increase your own chance at exposure and uppities. Just put it in there somewhere.

Happy scrawling. 😊✒📒💃

A few were done in conjunction with @opheliafu's Doodledayeo weekly doodle prompt challenge, or the poetry dice Challenge (which was launched by @robyneggs and is currently run by @rensoul17.

I have been gently pressuring her to bring it back, and I am keeping an eye out for the next dice roll.

Contests are wonderful, but very time consuming to run. Sometimes a whole lot of work, more than you can imagine until you try.

While we are on the topic of contests.

I came across a contest today, or rather a post about a contest that had been proposed with wonderful sentiment but had received disappointing results.
We have all been there.

The contest by @nonsowrites is for very new people who might like to borrow 50 sp in the way of deligation for a month.

It has been extended until post payout.

All that you need to do is comment as to why you want / need it, and graciously resteem if you will. The odds are damn good right now.

Check it out.

This is a generous offer from @nonsowrites.
Steemit is more fun when you are not playing with dust.

I can't help thinking that if this was being offered by someone with a high profile and a fat wallet it would be getting hits like crazy.

...Nonso sir, please consider me etc etc...

Steemit really is a complex and baffling playground. Your chance of securing this delegation are much greater than a trending post delegation, and as far as I can tell there are no strings attached.
